Weirdness Adventure Roleplaying

In WEIRDNESS ADVENTURE ROLEPLAYING, you and your friends dive head-first into weirdness—meaning anything extraordinary, mysterious, or just plain strange.

The world of WEIRDNESS is like our own, except the improbable happens all the time—people with incredible powers clash above city streets! Strange creatures erupt from lost realms! Aliens appear from the galactic fringe!

Whether you're a four-color superhero, two-fisted explorer, occult investigator, weird science inventor, alien ambassador, or mysterious cryptid, you deal with the impossible every day.

WEIRDNESS ADVENTURE ROLEPLAYING is available now at drivethrurpg.com in a pre-release Ashcan Edition for only $1.99—get your copy today!

Game Contents

WEIRDNESS is a genre mash-up TTRPG for supers, pulp, weird science, and space opera. It's designed to be flexible—although it includes a default setting, you can base your series on a favorite genre property, remixing urban legends, or riffing around the table. This book includes:

  • Complete rules for creating any supers/pulp/weird science/space opera character you can imagine

  • Custom D6 dice pool system that encourages creative approaches, cinematic stunts, and collaborative roleplaying

  • Detailed skills, perks, and powers listings

  • Extensive examples of gear, people, and creatures to bring your series to life

  • Story tools to help create a dynamic and engaging series

  • Detailed yet flexible setting information

Feedback

WEIRDNESS is not quite final (hence the minimal illustrations and possible game balance wonkiness that may crop up). I'm a one-person crew, so as I work on tightening everything up, your input is more than welcome! Just shoot me an email with the subject line "WARPG" at bates @ devilbear . net. (And call me "Charlie" or "Bates"—the full name is just for credit purposes.)
